Review: The must undergoes spontaneous fermentation, partially in open barriques and partially in stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation for 20 months in seasoned barriques and 50hl casks. It presents a deep garnet hue in the glass. The nose is expressive and floral, brimming with red-fruited aromas dominated by vibrant red cherries, complemented by nuances of strawberry jelly, plums, blood oranges, and freshly grated liquorice, showcasing impressive complexity. On the palate, the wine displays a slender to medium body, finely structured and elegantly poised, with tannins already beautifully integrated. Its lively acidity adds freshness and balance, seamlessly supporting the moderate alcohol level of 13%. The finish is long and harmonious. A Tuscan wine with a distinctly Burgundian elegance, it offers delightful drinking pleasure even in its youth, yet promises excellent aging potential.
